ALL STUDENTS
· Traveling Marching Band Members: All Marching Band Members traveling to Florida in February are reminded of the rehearsal tonight from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Please check the band website, www.crband.org, for more information.
· Earth Club: The Earth Club will have a recycling meeting on Wednesday, January 25thin Room D205. Please inform Ms. Stokes or Mr. Wickert prior to the meeting if you cannot attend.
· 11th and 12th Grade: Juniors and Seniors interested in joining the Delaware Army National Guard should see Mrs. Pierce for further information.
· All Students: Students interested in the Black Aerospace Professionals 2012 Aviation Summer Program should see Mrs. Pierce for further information.
· Softball Players: There will be another Informational/Fund Raising meeting on
Thursday, January 26th at 3:15 PM in Room B101. This will be the last meeting prior to tryouts on
Thursday, March 1st. If you cannot attend this meeting, please see Coach Fischbach in Room B101.
· Library Closure: Due to DCAS Testing, the Library will be closed until Friday, January 27th. Please do not send students during class periods. Thank you.
· LEO CLUB: The sign-up sheet for working the lunch tables this week is posted outside of Mrs. Shipe's Room A204. Please sign up to work during your lunch period to help collect cell phones for the cell phone drive, we're running out of time! Don't forget, you get hours of service for working the table!
· Attentions Juniors: Are you interested in helping plan for prom? If so, please start attending our weekly Prom Planning Committee meetings held every Friday in D101 at 7:40 AM.
· Girls Lacrosse: Open gym everySaturday night 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the CRHS gym. Please attend with stick and sneakers.
· ALA-Teen Support Group: Sick and tired of dealing with a friend or family members drinking (and/or drug) problem?????? The Wellness Center is supporting an ALA-Teen support group for CRHS students. Starting Wednesday January 25th, at 3:05pm in the Wellness Center. This confidential group is a great place to find support and gain new coping skills. Please see the Wellness Staff for questions.
· All Students: The 11th Annual SERVICE ACADEMY INFORMATION NIGHT will be held on
Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 6:00pm in the Education and Technology Building, Del Tech Terry
Campus (Dover). Participants include the Honorable Senator Tom Carper, as well as representatives from
all of the military academies, ROTC programs, etc. Any student interested in attending a military academy
(West Point, USAF Academy, Naval Academy, etc.) should attend to learn valuable information about the
nomination and application processes. For further information please contact Lori James at

· Grades 10th and 11th : On March 8, 2012 students interested in teaching math and science are invited to attend a Project SMART program at the University of Delaware. The program is scheduled to last ½ day during which students will learn more about Project SMART, UD admissions requirements, financial aid opportunities and have an opportunity to speak with current math/science majors and professors. See your counselor or science teacher for an application. Application deadline is February 10th. For more information on Project SMART, contact Kathy Melvin, Coordinator, at kmelvin@udel.edu.

Veterans Vocational Institute (prepares students for Law Enforcement & Homeland Security positions)
Wednesday, February 8th at 9:00 am
Interested Juniors & Seniors should sign-up in Guidance at least one day prior to the scheduled visit.
Remember, you must have a pass signed by a teacher in order to attend.
· Softball Skill and Drills Clinic: The 2012 Caesar Rodney Riders Softball Boosters will be holding its annual skills & drills clinic for kids from grades 2nd thru 7th. The camp will be held in the CRHS gymnasium from 4:00 – 6:00 PM The camp will be on the following Sundays: February 5, 12, 19, and 26.
The cost of the camp is $55.00 if received by January 31st or $60.00 if received after January 31st.
Payment can be sent to the address below. Walk- ins are also available at the cost of $60.00.

· Camden Wyoming Little League: Students interested in participating in the Camden Wyoming Little League can stop by the Guidance Office to pick up the information.
· Grades 10th and 11th: The Department of Parks and Recreation’s Youth and Family Division in Wilmington is sponsoring a spring college tour to a selection of colleges in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia (see poster in Guidance office window) from April 9-13, 2012. Cost is $300 for non-city residents and a $60 non-refundable deposit is due by January 27th. Applications are available in Guidance or call Nichole Torrence at 302-576-3847 for more information.
· Students are expected to ride their assigned bus. Any student found in violation is in jeopardy of losing bus riding privileges.
